Biblical Doctrine

The Bible (The Word)

The Bible is the inspired word of God that provides a true history of the creation of heaven, earth, and humanity. The Bible contains a correct prophecy of the ages to come regarding heaven, earth, and ultimately the destiny of man. There is no salvation outside of what is taught in its pages. We at KCC believe the Bible to be the inerrant word of God.

Doctrine

The word doctrine is defined as, “a belief or set of beliefs held and taught by a church, political party, or other group.” For the membership of KCC, doctrine is established as the set of institutional and foundational beliefs that are believed, understood and then taught to both lay members and ministers, depicting how we are to live individually and operate collectively according to scripture.

The doctrine of Kingdom City Church has not been created by man, an organization, or denomination. Rather, it is the set of foundational beliefs that were spread and taught by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, therefore accurately referred to as the Apostles’ Doctrine. Acts 2:42 states, “And they continued steadfastly in the Apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread and in prayers.” The basis of our theological knowledge and our doctrine stems from God’s word, the Bible.
